Mobil Super 3000 Formula V 0W-20 is part of the synthetic Mobil Super 3000 engine oil series, engineered to deliver outstanding protection. It is a high-performance grade engine oil formulated to provide long engine life for modern gasoline and diesel vehicles equipped with after-treatment systems (e.g. DPF) and requiring a low-viscosity oil to achieve enhanced fuel economy. The oil is designed to help improve fuel economy in both diesel and gasoline powered engines, enhance engine cleanliness and sludge prevention, improve high-temperature wear protection, and enhance cold start-up performance. It meets or exceeds the API SN Plus industry standard to help address LSPI (Low Speed Pre-Ignition) in downsized direct-injection turbocharged gasoline engines. It is suitable for modern high-efficiency gasoline, diesel and hybrid cars from Volkswagen, as well as Japanese and Korean vehicles that specifically call for an SAE 0W-20 viscosity grade and the specifications the oil supports. The product holds VW 508 00, VW 509 00 and Porsche C20 approvals, and meets or exceeds ACEA C5 and API SN Plus. It is not recommended for older vehicle engines designed for higher-viscosity oils — the owner's manual should be consulted for the recommended viscosity grade and specification.
