Divinol Fett LM 2 is a lithium soap lubricating grease with a high mechanical load capacity and good water resistance. It contains molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) as a solid lubricant, which improves the pressure absorption capacity and provides emergency running properties should the lubricant film be interrupted. The grease is suitable for the lubrication of slide and roller bearings, including those with a comparatively high share of sliding friction. Typical application areas are motor vehicles of all kinds, construction, agricultural and industrial machines, across a wide operating temperature range. Thanks to its solid lubricant content, Divinol Fett LM 2 is also well suited to lubrication points subject to impact loads, vibrations and oscillating movements. Divinol Fett LM 2 is classified KPF 2 K-30 as per DIN 51 825 and ISO-L-XCCHB 2 as per ISO/DIS 6743-9 (NLGI grade 2, with solid lubricant).
Applications
- Divinol Fett LM 2 is suitable for the lubrication of slide and roller bearings, also for those with comparatively high sliding friction. Applicatiion areas are e.g. all kinds of motor vehicles, construction, agriculture and industrial machines in a wide operating temperature range. Supplementary solid lubricant components improve the pressure absorption capacity and give emergency running properties. Therefore, Divinol Fett LM 2 is also suitable in case of impact load, vibrations and oscillating movements.
