Divinol Asphalt WMB (Art-Nr. 09480) is a water-miscible release agent for asphalt formulated on the basis of vegetable raw materials. It is easily biodegradable according to the OECD 301 C test, making it an environmentally considerate choice for road-building and asphalt handling. The product is designed for asphalt-coated gravel in base layers and achieves an excellent release effect on transport equipment, machinery and rubber rollers, preventing bituminous material from sticking to working surfaces. It is supplied as a concentrate: for hot and mastic asphalt the working concentration is 1:20 with water, while in concrete mixing facilities dilutions of 1:15 up to 1:10 are used. The concentrate is added first, followed by water under continuous stirring. Divinol Asphalt WMB is frost-sensitive and should be stored above 5 °C. Only quantities that can be consumed within one working day should be mixed. No OEM approvals are listed; the biodegradability according to OECD 301 C is the certification referenced.
