Mobil Delvac Legend 15W-40 CNG/LNG is a premium fleet engine oil specifically formulated to provide reliable protection for trucks and buses running on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) or Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). Built from high-quality base stocks and a balanced additive system, its advanced medium-ash formulation delivers excellent oxidation, nitration and thermal stability to minimise combustion chamber ash deposits, lubricating with less varnish, sludge and carbon build-up under the most severe operating conditions. ExxonMobil recommends it for spark-ignited CNG and LNG-fuelled lean-burn engines, dual-fuel engines using diesel for start-up and a 15% diesel pilot with CNG/LNG, and on-highway light and heavy-duty trucks and buses. Key benefits include high thermal and oxidation stability that controls sludge build-up and deposits, reserve TBN that neutralises oxy-acids and nitrates to reduce deposits, shear stability that reduces oil consumption while protecting bearings and cylinder liners from scuffing, effective detergency/dispersancy that keeps engines cleaner, and low zinc and phosphorus levels that help extend catalytic converter life.
