High-performance inhibited electrical insulating oil. Shell Diala S3 ZX-I Dried is a premium inhibited electrical insulating oil manufactured from specially refined mineral oils with an ultra-low sulphur content. It offers very high oxidation stability and excellent dielectric properties, including at low temperatures. Shell Diala S3 ZX-I Dried is dried to achieve a breakdown voltage higher than that required by the industry standards. Shell Diala S3 ZX-I Dried passes both the established and the new industry copper corrosion tests.

Shell Diala S3 ZX-I Dried is also suitable for use in highly loaded applications. Transformer protection · Shell Diala S3 ZX-I Dried is manufactured from a base oil with a very low sulphur content, making it intrinsically non-corrosive towards copper without the need for passivation. System efficiency · The oil's good low-temperature properties ensure adequate heat transfer inside the transformer, starting from even the lowest temperatures. Shell Diala S3 ZX-I Dried is specially dried and handled to achieve a low water content and maintain a high breakdown voltage at the point of delivery. This allows it to be used in many applications without further treatment. Main applications: Transformers · All types of power transformer and application (e.g. generator transformers, reactors, distribution transformers).
