Mobil Delvac Legend 1300 Series are monograde diesel engine oils formulated from advanced-technology base oils and a balanced additive system, engineered for performance in intercooled, turbo-charged engines operating under severe on- and off-highway conditions. Available in SAE 30, 40 and 50 grades, they are used across a wide range of applications where a monograde lubricant is recommended. ExxonMobil recommends the series for naturally aspirated and turbo-charged diesel-powered equipment in light, medium and heavy-duty trucking, as well as construction, mining, quarrying and agriculture. Key benefits include excellent protection against oil thickening, high-temperature deposits and sludge build-up for prolonged engine life and reduced wear, along with an extended TBN reserve that controls acid formation when using higher-sulphur fuels and provides long-term deposit and wear control while protecting against ring sticking. The series meets API CF and API SF, and the SAE 30 and 40 grades meet Allison C-4. Typical properties include a viscosity index of 99, sulfated ash of 1.1 mass%, TBN of 10 mgKOH/g, and pour points of -27°C (SAE 30/40) or -15°C (SAE 50).
