PETRONAS Grease LiCa MG XHL is an extreme-pressure lithium-calcium grease recommended for lubrication of industrial plain and anti-friction bearings where severe or shock loads and low speeds are experienced. It is also suited to applications where oscillating or limited relative motion and fretting corrosion are likely to occur, and to heavily loaded machine parts such as vibrating shafts, sliding mechanisms, pins/bushes and heavy-duty slideways, with a recommended operating temperature range of -20°C to +120°C (max +130°C). The black-coloured grease is fortified with molybdenum disulfide (2%) and graphite (3%) solid lubricants, giving it exceptional extreme-pressure performance, evidenced by a Four Ball EP weld point of 800 kgf, along with low oil separation, good roll stability and a dropping point of 190°C. It passes the SKF R2F B test at 120°C, offers good water resistance and washout resistance, low-temperature pumpability and reliable rust protection. Grease LiCa MG XHL meets DIN 51502 KPF2K-20 and ISO 12924 L-XB(F)CHB2, with a worked penetration of 280 mm/10 and a base oil viscosity of 930 cSt at 40°C.
