Manufacturer's description
Divinol Aqua EM (Art-Nr. 25170) is a high-quality, solvent-free release agent emulsion on a water basis, supplied ready for use and applied undiluted. It has been developed primarily for filigree (semi-precast) ceilings and hollow walls, and is suitable for non-absorbent moulds as well as steel formwork. Used correctly, Divinol Aqua EM produces an optimum concrete surface quality, reduces the formation of pores and provides good corrosion protection for the formwork. The emulsion is easily applied by spraying, brushing or rolling; a drying time of at least 20 minutes in dry weather is recommended. When applied as intended, it does not negatively affect subsequent treatments of the concrete surface such as plastering, ceramic tiling, wallpaper or paint. The product is frost-sensitive and should be stored above 5 °C. It must not come into contact with zinc or zinc-coated materials. No specification or approval codes are listed in the technical data sheet.
Applications
