Mobil Delvac XHP 15W-40 is a high performance diesel engine oil that provides protection for diesel engines operating under severe service conditions in both on- and off-highway applications. It is recommended by ExxonMobil for a wide range of heavy-duty applications and operating environments found in trucking, mining, construction, quarrying and agricultural industries, suiting naturally aspirated and turbocharged diesel-powered equipment from European, Japanese and American manufacturers, in line with owner's manual recommendations. Key benefits include thermal and oxidation stability that helps control sludge build-up and deposits, TBN reserve for deposit control, stay-in-grade shear stability that helps reduce oil consumption and provide wear protection, excellent detergency and dispersancy to keep engines clean, and component compatibility for long gasket and seal life. Mobil Delvac XHP 15W-40 carries an MTU Oil Category 1 approval, is recommended for applications requiring ACEA B2, API SH, MAN M 3275-1, RENAULT TRUCKS RD, RD-2 and RLD, and VOLVO VDS-2, and meets or exceeds the requirements of API CH-4.
