Mobilube 1 SHC 75W-90
Fully synthetic oil for heavy-duty manual gearboxes and axles, API GL-5, GL-4 and MT-1
SAE 75W-90
Mobil Delvac Ultra Total Driveline 75W-90 is a fully synthetic drivetrain lubricant engineered to meet demanding extended-drain and warranty requirements. It is designed for heavy-duty transmissions, axles and differentials that need gear lubricants with excellent load-carrying capability under extreme pressure and shock loading, combining synthetic basestocks with advanced additives for significant advantages over conventional gear oils. It is intended for on-highway light and heavy-duty trucks, buses and vans, as well as off-highway construction, mining, quarrying and agricultural equipment, including hypoid and worm gear drives, winch reduction gears and crawler vehicle propulsion gears exposed to severe low temperatures. Key benefits include exceptional thermal stability and resistance to high-temperature oxidation, outstanding protection against low-speed/high-torque wear and high-speed scoring, exceptional shear stability, enhanced friction reduction for potential fuel economy, and good low-temperature fluidity for easy start-up. Mobil Delvac Ultra Total Driveline 75W-90 meets or exceeds API GL-4 and GL-5, Meritor O76-E and O-94, and Scania STO 1:0 and 1:1 G, and carries approvals from Mack, MAN, SAE J2360 and ZF TE-ML. It is not intended for automatic, manual or semiautomatic transmissions that call for engine oil or automatic transmission fluid.
MAN 341 type Z2 — gearbox oil
Type Z2 of the MAN 341 list for manual gearbox oils, with in-house synchroniser protection requirements.
MAN 342 type M3 — synthetic axle oil
Type M3 of the MAN 342 list: synthetic axle oils with extended drain intervals.
SAE J2360 — registered EP axle oil
The standard that took over the MIL-PRF-2105E military specification. Unlike API GL-5 it requires product registration and axle rig testing, which makes it the harder level to hold.
