PETRONAS Urania 5000 10W-40 is a synthetic engine oil formulated with StrongTech™ technology, engineered to stay stronger for longer by forming a uniquely strong fluid film that extends drain intervals and engine life, maximises performance and keeps your trucks moving, helping to extend engine life and reduce the total cost of ownership. It is suitable for all types of heavy-duty diesel applications, including modern, high-output engines, and for new and older turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines, both on-highway and off-highway, running on high- or ultra-low-sulphur diesel and biodiesel. The oil maintains optimal viscosity for reliable lubrication and prevents unplanned breakdowns, offers excellent control of deposit build-up, keeps acidity under control to prevent corrosion, provides outstanding anti-wear protection in severe conditions and allows longer oil drain intervals, especially on low-emission engines. It effectively combats high soot concentrations to prevent loss of horsepower and gives excellent low-temperature viscosity for start-up lubrication. It meets API CI-4 and ACEA E4, E7, holds MB-Approval 228.5, Volvo VDS-3, MAN M3377 / M3277, Renault RLD-2, Cummins CES 20078, Mack EO-N and MTU Type 3 approvals, and meets the IVECO 18-1804 Classe T3 E4 performance level.
