Long-life, low-ash gas engine oil. Shell Mysella S5 S is a premium gas engine oil formulated for use in engines burning non-natural gases, such as corrosive petroleum gases, sewage gas and landfill gas. Shell Mysella S5 S has been specially developed to deliver an extended drain interval in biogas, sewage gas and landfill gas engines. Shell Mysella S5 S uses a formulation that has been optimised to resist the oxidative effects of the sulphuric and halogenic acids that are often present in these gases. Thanks to its low ash content, Shell Mysella S5 S minimises the lubricating oil's contribution to deposit formation in the combustion chamber.

- All types of four-stroke engine running on biogas, sewage gas or landfill gas. Specifications, approvals and recommendations: Shell Mysella S5 S is suitable for engine types that require a "medium ash" oil. Shell Mysella S5 S is approved by: INNIO Jenbacher for engines: Series 6 versions C and E, Series 4 versions A, B and D, and Series 2 and 3 for fuel classes B and C. Series 2, 3, Series 4 (version B) and Series 6 (version E) for fuel classes B and C.
