Mobil Avrex M Turbo 201/1010 is a gas turbine lubricant combining a proven aviation engine mineral oil base stock with an ashless additive package. It is designed for an effective operating range of -40°C to 121°C (-40°F to 250°F), with a pour point below -57°C (-70°F), giving reliable low-temperature flow together with adequate protection at the upper end of the range. The lubricant is recommended for older-design aircraft gas turbine engines and is approved against U.S. Military Specification MIL-PRF-6081, Grade 1010. It should be used only in turbine engines whose operating temperatures fall within the capability of mineral oil-based lubricants, rather than in modern engines requiring synthetic turbine oils. Because its performance envelope is narrower than that of synthetic aviation turbine oils, Mobil Avrex M Turbo 201/1010 remains a specialised choice, mainly serving legacy aircraft and equipment for which the mineral-oil formulation is the specified or approved lubricant.
Applications
- Mobil Avrex M Turbo 201/1010 is recommended for older design aircraft gas turbine engines. The product is approved against U.S. Military Specification MIL-PRF-6081, Grade 1010.
