Shell Gadus S5 V100 is a lithium complex grease made from synthetic base oils with antioxidant, EP, anti-wear and anti-rust additives. The product contains a special friction modifier that makes it suitable for high-speed bearings, tapered and cylindrical roller bearings of the NJ and NUP types, plus angular contact applications.
Applications
- Shell Gadus S5 V100 is designed for lubricating roller bearings operating at moderate speeds, as well as bearings requiring very good low-temperature behaviour. The grease has very low starting and running torques at temperatures down to -50 0 C, and is therefore suitable for year-round lubrication of, for example, outdoor fans and electric motors. The grease has very good mechanical and thermal stability and can be used in electric motors, fans and pumps at temperatures up to 150 0 C, where extended regreasing intervals are required.
