Mobil Delvac Modern 5W-30 Extreme Protection
Synthetic-technology oil for Daimler Truck DPF engines, DTFR 15C110, API CK-4, ACEA E8/E11
SAE 5W-30
Mobil Delvac Ultra 5W-30 Ultimate Protection v2 is an Advanced Synthetic Technology high performance heavy duty diesel engine oil that combines advanced engine protection for modern low emissions vehicles with enhanced fuel economy potential and other sustainability-related benefits such as engine durability, emissions system protection and extended drain capability. It is well suited for an extensive array of diesel-powered commercial vehicles for on- and off-highway use in transportation, mining, construction and agriculture, and is biodiesel compatible. Formulated with advanced synthetic base stocks, it helps improve fuel economy versus mineral-oil-formulated engine oils, while unsurpassed oxidation stability reduces engine deposits for reliable operation. Excellent anti-wear and anti-scuff properties control wear in heavy-duty operation, excellent low-temperature performance improves oil flow to critical bearings at startup, and stay-in-grade shear stability maintains viscosity in severe, high-temperature service while helping reduce oil consumption. Outstanding protection against oil thickening and degradation contributes to long drain interval capability. Suited to heavy duty diesel engines including Euro V/VI and US EPA 2007/2010 low-emissions vehicles using DPF, SCR, CRT, DOC and EGR technologies, and to on- and off-highway trucks, buses and equipment. SAE 5W-30, it carries approvals including DQC IV-18 LA, MACK EOS-4.5, RENAULT TRUCKS RLD-3, MAN M 3677/3775/3777, MTU Oil Category 3.1, VOLVO VDS-4.5 and Cummins CES 20086, and meets or exceeds API CI-4, CI-4 PLUS, CJ-4, CK-4, ACEA E4/E6/E7/E8/E9/E11, JASO DH-2, Caterpillar ECF-3, Ford WSS-M2C171-E and Scania LDF-4.

MAN's specification for low-SAPS, low-viscosity oils delivering fuel economy on Euro VI engines.
MTU Oil Category 3.1 (low SAPS)
MTU's highest category in its low-SAPS form: a multigrade oil with under 1 % ash, approved only where the fuel carries less than 50 mg/kg sulphur. For engines with exhaust aftertreatment.
Volvo's specification matching the API CK-4 level, with increased oxidation stability and aeration resistance over VDS-4.
Detroit Fluids Specification 93K222
Detroit Diesel's current heavy-duty diesel engine oil specification, matching the API CK-4 level, with increased oxidation stability and aeration requirements.
Daimler Truck DTFR 15C120 (formerly MB 228.52) — low-SAPS engine oil, extended drain
A low-SAPS level above 228.51, with tighter oxidation requirements, for longer drain intervals. Daimler Truck renumbered the MB-Approval sheets into the DTFR series; MB 228.52 and DTFR 15C120 are the same requirement.Source
