Mobil Hydraulic Oil HLPD Series are hydraulic fluids containing a selective additive system for protection of hydraulic systems, plus added detergent/dispersant additives. Where contaminants, deposits and water may have entered the hydraulic system and could damage pump parts, the HLPD series disperses and holds these in suspension, dissolving adhering particles and deposits. Available in ISO VG 32, 46 and 68 grades, Mobil Hydraulic Oil HLPD is particularly suited to hydraulic systems where high water ingress or contamination demands a high level of dispersancy to prevent water dropout — notably machine-tool hydraulic systems where water-mixed cutting fluids may enter the circuit — as well as applications experiencing high contamination levels, such as mobile hydraulic units in excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders and truck hydraulic systems. The series' special detergent/dispersant additive system provides excellent keep-clean performance in the hydraulic system, while particular polar additives improve glide behaviour and prevent stick-slip even under severe operating conditions.

Applications

• Mobil Hydraulic Oil HLPD series are suited for use in hydraulic systems, where due to high ingresses of water or contamination a high level of dispersancy is required to prevent water dropout in the system. Mobil Hydraulic Oil HLPD series are particularly recommended for use in hydraulic systems of machine tools, where water-mixed cutting fluids may enter the hydraulic system. They can also be used in applications that experience high levels contamination e.g. mobile hydraulic units (excavators, bulldozers, wheel loaders, truck hydraulic systems).
