Jenbacher NX Oil 40 (SAE 40) is a high-performance gas engine oil formulated for the next generation of Jenbacher natural gas engines, developed as a major engine component in close cooperation between INNIO Jenbacher and ExxonMobil engineers. It represents a major advancement in gas engine lubrication, meticulously aligned with the Jenbacher engine platform to meet the evolving requirements of next-generation Type 2, 3, 4 and 6 engines running on 100% pipeline gas or blends with up to 60% hydrogen content. By integrating ExxonMobil's proprietary in-house technology with a high-viscosity-index base oil, Jenbacher NX Oil 40 delivers a significant performance step-up over standard gas engine oils, even in challenging environments. It is developed for fuel class A and can substitute all existing approved lubricants for pipeline gas engines per technical instructions TA 1000-1109, and is recommended for base-load, data-centre, peaking, fast-start and cold-start applications — it is the only officially tested product for the J701, J702, J711, J712, J715, J781, J782 and J783 versions. • All Jenbacher natural gas engines – Type 2, Type 3, Type 4, Type 6. Developed for next generation Jenbacher natural gas engines Type 2 / 3 / 4 / 6 & J920. Jenbacher NX Oil 40 was developed for use in fuel class A and can be substituted for all existing approved lubricating oils for pipeline gas engines as specified in technical instructions TA 1000-1109. In addition to all base load engines and versions, it is the recommended product for data center, peaking, fast-start, and cold-start applications, and only official tested product for J701, J702, J711, J712, J715, J781, J782 and J783 versions.
