PETRONAS Urania 3000 LS 15W-40 is a premium engine oil formulated with StrongTech technology, engineered to stay stronger for longer by forming a uniquely strong fluid film that extends drain intervals and engine life while maximizing performance and reducing total cost of ownership. It is a low-SAPS oil suitable for Euro VI and Euro V heavy-duty diesel applications, including modern, high-output, low-emission engines fitted with DPF, SCR, DOC and EGR after-treatment systems, as well as older turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines, on-highway and off-highway, running on high or ultra-low sulphur diesel and biodiesel. Its low-ash additive system gives optimal protection for DPF and DOC after-treatment, keeps acidity under control to prevent corrosion, and offers enhanced thermal and oxidation stability under high temperature, alongside effective soot control and good low-temperature viscosity at start-up. Urania 3000 LS 15W-40 meets API CK-4, CJ-4, SN and ACEA E11/E7, and is approved to Daimler Truck Fluid Release (DTFR) 15C100 (MB 228.31, backward compatible with E9-16 and E7-16), Cummins CES 20086, Deutz DQC III-18 LA, Mack EOS-4.5, MTU Oil Category 2.1, Renault RLD-3 and Volvo VDS-4.5, with additional performance-level recognition from CAT ECF-3, DAF, Detroit Diesel DFS93K222, Ford WSS M2C171-F1 and MAN M 3775.
