Eni Blasia S 220
Polyglycol synthetic oil for gears running at high temperatures
ISO VG 220
Eni Telium VSF 220 is a synthetic lubricant formulated with selected water-soluble polyglycols and special additives that deliver high lubricity properties and a very high viscosity index. Eni Telium VSF 220 is particularly suitable for lubrication of bearings, gears and other couplings operating at very high temperatures with particular regard to worm gears, characterized by high power-weight ratio.
ANSI/AGMA 9005-E02 (2002)
The 2002 edition of the AGMA enclosed gear drive lubrication practice. Still widely quoted on datasheets although superseded by the 2016 F16 edition.
Lubricant designation CLP-PG — DIN 51502
The DIN code for polyglycol gear oils, used mainly in worm drives, where they cut friction and running temperature.
Industrial gear lubricant CKT — ISO 12925
Class CKT of ISO 12925-1: gear oils with thermal stability beyond the CKD level, for gear units running continuously hot.
Industrial gear lubricant CKE — ISO 12925
Class CKE of ISO 12925-1: oils for worm gears, where the contact is sliding and friction matters more than load-carrying capacity.
