PETRONAS Grease LiX EP 2/380 is recommended for use in large plain and anti-friction bearings and other applications requiring a high-temperature lithium complex grease, such as slides, cams and bearings operating in wet environments, as well as centralized lubrication systems in industrial applications. The recommended operating temperature range is -30°C to +140°C (max +180°C). The grease combines a high dropping point of 265°C with low oil separation, good roll stability and strong extreme-pressure protection, evidenced by a Four Ball EP weld point of 315 kgf and a pass on the SKF R2F B test at 140°C. It also delivers good water washout resistance, water resistance and rust protection, along with low-temperature pumpability (flow pressure below 1400 mbar at -30°C). Grease LiX EP 2/380 meets DIN 51502 KP2N-30 and ISO 12924 L-XC(F)DHB2, with a worked penetration of 282 mm/10 and a base oil viscosity of 400 cSt at 40°C.
