Petronas Hydraulic 32
Mineral anti-wear hydraulic fluid for mobile and industrial systems, DIN 51524 HLP
ISO VG 32
PETRONAS Hydraulic ZF 32 belongs to the premium performance, ashless PETRONAS Hydraulic ZF Series, specially created for a wide range of mobile and industrial hydraulic equipment operating under normal to heavy-duty conditions and in the presence of water that could otherwise cause filter blocking. It is recommended for systems with smaller reservoirs and coolers generating high thermal stress, systems sensitive to sludge and varnish formation with tight-tolerance pumps and servo valves, and systems demanding long-life lubricants. Formulated with high quality selected base oils and advanced zinc-free anti-wear, antioxidant, anti-rust and anti-foam additives, it delivers excellent anti-wear protection under demanding operating conditions and an oxidation life up to 5 times longer than standard fluids, with a TOST life exceeding 10,000 hours against a minimum requirement of 1,000 hours. Grade 32 has a kinematic viscosity of 32 cSt at 40°C and 5.4 cSt at 100°C, a viscosity index of 102, a flash point of 220°C and a pour point of -33°C. PETRONAS Hydraulic ZF Series meets or exceeds ASTM D6158 HM, DIN 51524 Part II HLP, ISO 11158 HM, Eaton E-FDGN-TB002-E, Fives Cincinnati P-68/P-69/P-70, Parker Denison HF-0/HF-1/HF-2, GB 11118.1 L-HM and SS 155434:2015 Type M.
GB 11118.1 L-HM — hydraulic oil (China)
The Chinese national standard for hydraulic fluids; class L-HM is the antiwear oil, with a high-pressure variant.
Eaton E-FDGN-TB002-E — hydraulic fluids
The Eaton technical bulletin listing the requirements for hydraulic fluids in Eaton and Vickers equipment, including the vane pump wear test.
Hydraulic oil, type H HM (FDIS 2008) — ISO 11158
The international standard for mineral hydraulic fluids; class HM is the antiwear oil, the ISO counterpart of DIN 51524-2 HLP.
Fives Cincinnati P-68 — ISO VG 32 hydraulic oil
An approval number from the Fives Cincinnati list of fluids for use in its own machine tools. Approved hydraulic fluids must pass its own wear, filterability and water separation tests, beyond the DIN 51524-2 level.
Fives Cincinnati P-69 — ISO VG 68 hydraulic oil
An approval number from the Fives Cincinnati list of fluids for use in its own machine tools. Approved hydraulic fluids must pass its own wear, filterability and water separation tests, beyond the DIN 51524-2 level.
Parker Denison HF-0 — hydraulic fluid, most severe level
The most severe level of the Denison hydraulic fluid specification: the oil must pass the wear test on both a vane pump and a piston pump, dry and in the presence of water. HF-0 subsumes HF-1 and HF-2.
Parker Denison HF-0, HF-1 and HF-2
The three Denison hydraulic fluid levels quoted together. An oil covering all three passes the vane pump and piston pump tests alike, including in the presence of water.
