Mobil Delvac Modern 5W-30 Advanced Protection SCA is an extra high performance, advanced synthetic-technology diesel engine oil engineered to provide outstanding protection and fuel economy potential in modern, high performance, low-emission engines used in severe on-highway applications. It is specifically designed to meet the Scania LDF-4 specification, and can also be used where ACEA E6 or E7 is requested. Its advanced synthetic base oils deliver excellent low-temperature fluidity, high-temperature viscosity retention and volatility control, while the additive system is engineered to prolong the life and maintain the efficiency of emission-reduction systems such as the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). It is recommended for on-highway light and heavy-duty trucking and for modern heavy-duty engines equipped with a DPF, in line with owner manual recommendations. Key benefits include excellent protection against oil thickening, oil degradation, high-temperature deposits and sludge, contributing to long oil life consistent with OEM recommended drain intervals; advanced SAE 5W-30 viscometrics with stay-in-grade shear stability that can help reduce fuel consumption versus higher-viscosity oils; and very low volatility for reduced oil consumption under heavy-duty, high-temperature conditions.
