The Mobil families and what each covers

The Mobil industrial portfolio is organised around a few families whose names have been very stable over time, which helps when you are working from an old specification in a machine's documentation:

Delvac — heavy-duty engine oils for trucks and off-road machinery, with a broad set of OEM approvals.

Where Mobil makes sense

Mobil holds a particularly solid position in extended-drain industrial synthetics — where the calculation is not the price per litre but the downtime hours saved and the energy consumed. On screw compressors and continuously running gearboxes, the difference between a mineral oil and a well-chosen synthetic is measured in years between changes. The DTE family is frequently cited in the specifications of turbine and precision hydraulic equipment makers. On the fleet side, Delvac covers the usual approvals without surprises. If budget is the leading criterion and the machine does not require extended drain, we will put alternatives in front of you as well — a correctly chosen mineral oil does the same job at half the price.
