PETRONAS Syntium Prime 10W-40 is a synthetic-technology engine oil formulated with °CoolTech™ technology that effectively controls heat, resists oxidation and prevents oil degradation and deposit build-up, protecting parts and maintaining engine efficiency for the full drain interval. It is especially designed for passenger cars, SUVs and vans using direct-injection turbocharged petrol engines and diesel engines, such as those from Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen and Renault (refer to the owner's manual for the recommended grade), and is also suitable for vehicles with fuel injectors, multi-valve systems or turbochargers operating under severe conditions. Benefits include superior ability to maintain oil thickness and reduce engine wear, superior protection against bearing wear under high load, and superior control of sludge build-up for maximum engine power and efficiency. The oil meets API SN and ACEA A3/B4 specifications, with Renault RN 0700/0710 and PSA B71 2300 approvals and VW 501.01/505.00, MB 229.3, FCA 9.55535-D2 and FCA 955535-G2 performance levels.
