Mobilfluid 428 is a modern extra high performance multipurpose tractor lubricant engineered to meet or exceed the requirements of most equipment builders for hydraulic and transmission compartments. It is designed to optimize the performance of agricultural and commercial tractors across a wide range of environments and conditions, and is recommended for off-highway agriculture, construction and quarrying, with friction characteristics that help reduce wet brake and PTO chatter. Formulated from high quality base oils and advanced additive technology, it delivers excellent thermal stability combined with high shear stability at SAE 10W-30, and its excellent shear stability and air handling make it suitable for use in conventional CVTs (hydraulic pump plus planetary gear componentry). Mobilfluid 428 delivers exceptional performance in powertrain transmissions, drive axles, clutches, PTOs and hydraulic systems. Key benefits include excellent frictional properties for optimal clutch and PTO performance, compatibility with clutch materials and elastomers for long clutch life, high viscosity index and improved shear stability, excellent protection against rust, corrosion and yellow-metal etching, enhanced low-temperature properties, strong anti-wear and extreme-pressure protection, excellent thermal and oxidation stability, and good filterability. It carries approvals including ZF TE-ML 03E/05F/06K/17E/21F, Volvo WB-101 and Massey Ferguson CMS M1145, is recommended for applications requiring AGCO Powerfluid 821 XL, Allison C-4, API GL-4, CNH MAT 3505/3525/3540, Ford ESEN-M2C86-B and ESN-M2C134-D, several JICASE MS specifications, Massey Ferguson CMS M1135/M1141/M1143, New Holland WB NWH 410B, Denison UTTO/THF and Caterpillar TO-2, and meets or exceeds the Eaton 35VQ (ASTM D6973) vane pump test and John Deere JDM J20C.
