WYROL H Series oils are ExxonMobil hydraulic fluids designed for use in the hydraulic systems of rolling mills, formulated with non-staining base oil combined with shear-stable synthetic components to obtain the desired viscosity. Specially selected additives provide good anti-wear protection, oxidation stability and rust prevention, with very low staining properties compared with conventional hydraulic fluids. The series is recommended for mills rolling aluminium or yellow metals, where cross-contamination of conventional hydraulic oils with roll oils could otherwise cause staining problems visible after annealing. It is available in ISO VG 15 and 32 grades, both suitable for low and high pressure hydraulic systems of rolling mills, and meets FDA Regulation 21 CFR 178.3570, allowing use in mills producing foil or sheet stock for food packaging applications. Benefits include low staining characteristics that reduce the potential for production rejects, good anti-wear properties that reduce hydraulic component wear and extend service life, and high resistance to oxidation that reduces system deposits, improves oil life and lowers maintenance costs.
