eni Rotra ATF II D is a special fluid for modern automatic transmissions and for many other applications that call for outstanding low-temperature performance, resistance to mechanical loads and a high viscosity index. It is recommended for first fill and for service in automatic gearboxes for which the vehicle makers specify a GM DEXRON II D type fluid.

Applications

• Eni Rotra ATF II D is a special lubricant used primarily in automatic gearboxes and in many other applications where oils suitable for low temperature conditions, with high viscosity index and high stability at mechanical stresses are required. It is suitable for first filling and for topping up in automatic and hydraulic transmissions of those manufacturers that prescribe fluids that comply with the GM DEXRON IID specification.

• The use of an additive that improves the viscosity index ensures excellent viscosity properties even after long periods of use
• The excellent oxidation stability of the product prevents the oil from deteriorating in the parts operating at high temperatures and counteracts the formation of sludge; the good detergent-dispersing properties help to keep the impurities in suspension preventing the formation of deposits
• The high quality of EP (extreme pressures) additives helps to reduce wear avoiding damage to the gear surfaces
• The anti-rust properties prevent corrosion phenomena in the automatic transmissions hydraulic system, while anti-foam qualities strongly reduce the tendency to foaming, avoiding oil circulation problems in the various parts of the automatic gearboxes
• It is absolutely devoid of corrosive components for both steel and copper and in general against ferrous and non ferrous alloys
• It is perfectly compatible with all types of gaskets used in automatic transmissions
