Mobil Delvac MX 15W-40
Heavy-duty diesel oil for mixed fleets, ACEA E7, API CI-4, Volvo VDS-3
SAE 15W-40
Mobil Delvac Modern 15W-40 Super Defense V4 is a high performance synthetic-technology diesel engine oil that provides excellent lubrication of today's diesel engines and promotes long engine life, meeting or exceeding the requirements of virtually all major European and American engine manufacturers. Its chemistry delivers excellent performance in both modern, demanding low-emission diesel engines and older diesel engines operating on low- or high-sulfur fuel, combining high-performance base stocks with a balanced additive system for excellent control of oil thickening from soot build-up and high temperatures, together with resistance to oxidation, corrosion and high-temperature deposits. It is recommended for naturally aspirated and turbocharged diesel-powered equipment from leading Japanese, European and American manufacturers, on-highway light and heavy-duty trucking, off-highway construction, mining, quarrying and agriculture, and mixed fleet applications. Key benefits include high thermal and oxidation stability, TBN reserves for deposit control and acid neutralization, stay-in-grade shear stability, advanced detergency/dispersancy, and improved soot handling. It meets or exceeds ACEA E7, API SL/SJ/CH-4/CI-4, MTU Oil Category 2, Ford WSS-M2C171-D and Caterpillar ECF-2, with approvals including Mack EO-N, Mack EO-M Plus, RENAULT TRUCKS RLD-2, VOLVO VDS-3 and Cummins CES 20076/20077.

Volvo's engine oil specification for Euro III–V trucks without a particulate filter, with severe soot control requirements for EGR engines.
Cummins' oil specification for engines with cooled exhaust gas recirculation, with increased soot control requirements.
Cummins' oil specification for EGR diesel engines with a particulate filter, with capped ash to protect the DPF.
Diesel engine oil, API CF performance level
API's service category for indirect-injection diesel engines, tolerant of higher-sulphur fuel. An earlier category in the API service classification, written for the engines of its era; it still appears on datasheets alongside the current categories.Source
ACEA B2 oil sequence

Diesel engine oil, API CF-4 performance level
API's service category for high-speed four-stroke diesel engines, of the generation preceding the emissions standards. An earlier category in the API service classification, written for the engines of its era; it still appears on datasheets alongside the current categories.Source
Volvo VDS-2 — Volvo diesel engine oil
The second generation of the Volvo Drain Specification, for heavy-duty diesel engines without aftertreatment. Withdrawn, but still quoted for older fleets.
Diesel engine oil, API CG-4 performance level
API's service category for heavy-duty diesel engines, written for fuel below 0.5 % sulphur. An earlier category in the API service classification, written for the engines of its era; it still appears on datasheets alongside the current categories.Source
MAN M 3275-1 — truck engine oil
MAN's specification for medium-drain truck engine oils at the ACEA E7 level, without a low-ash requirement.
Cummins' engine oil specification for older diesel engines without exhaust aftertreatment. Superseded by later CES specifications.
Cummins' engine oil specification for the diesel engine generation preceding cooled EGR. Superseded by CES 20076 and later.
