Shell Helix Ultra Racing 10W-60
Fully synthetic oil for racing and modified engines
SAE 10W-60
Mobil 1 Extended Life 10W-60 is part of the Mobil 1 range, the world's leading synthetic engine oil brand, engineered for the specific demands of older vehicles. Its higher SAE 10W-60 viscosity and high-performance synthetic base stocks are designed to deliver long-lasting protection in higher-mileage engines, helping to extend vehicle life. Key features include extra seal conditioners to help prevent oil leaks, sludge-reducing additives to keep engines clean and prevent wear, outstanding oil film thickness for extra protection in older engines, a higher viscosity to reduce oil burn-off, and additional anti-wear additives for worn engines. It is suitable for virtually all types of older vehicles and operating conditions, from mild to extreme, and is also considered an ideal product for racing applications. Mobil 1 Extended Life 10W-60 meets or exceeds API SN/SM/SL and ACEA A3/B3, A3/B4, and holds builder approvals VW 501 01/505 00 and MB-Approval 229.1, alongside API CF suitability.

VW 501 01 / 505 00 — engine oil (obsolete)
VW's old engine oil standards for petrol engines (501 01) and for diesels without a direct-injection turbo (505 00). Withdrawn, but still called for by older engines in the group.
Mercedes-Benz approval 229.1
A Mercedes-Benz operating-fluid approval (BeVo sheet).
Diesel engine oil, API CF performance level
API's service category for indirect-injection diesel engines, tolerant of higher-sulphur fuel. An earlier category in the API service classification, written for the engines of its era; it still appears on datasheets alongside the current categories.Source
