Eni Grease AC 1 is an aluminium complex grease with EP additives and antioxidants, designed and manufactured specially for the needs of the steel industry, where it is used to lubricate bearings at high temperatures — the roller ways of slabbing mills, of continuous casting furnaces and the like — and wherever a grease has to be pumped through particularly long and complex centralised supply circuits. Eni Grease AC 1 is also suitable for the centralised lubrication circuits of hot-press guides. Its EP and anti-wear additives allow the formation of a lubricating film able to resist the mechanical stress that arises in heavily loaded parts with sliding contact, as confirmed by the Timken test, where it reaches 45 lb.
