PETRONAS Compressor A SYN PAO 46 is part of the Compressor A SYN PAO series, supreme performance air compressor oils specially developed for up to 8,000 hours of oil life in service, even when operating at maximum discharge temperatures up to 120°C. Formulated with high viscosity index Polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base oils enhanced with advanced antioxidant, anti-rust and anti-foam additives, it provides excellent varnish and deposit control, and excellent thermal and oxidation stability for long-lasting performance. It is recommended for use in flooded rotary screw compressors and liquid ring vacuum pumps, and is compatible with mineral compressor oils. As the ISO VG 46 grade of the series, typical properties include density of 0.840 g/cm³ at 15°C, kinematic viscosity of 46 cSt at 40°C and 7.8 cSt at 100°C, viscosity index of 139, flash point of 268°C and pour point of -55°C. The series meets or exceeds key industrial specifications including ISO 6743-3 DAB and DAJ.
