Manufacturer's description
Divinol System Cleaner Radiator (Art-Nr. 89860) is an optimization product for cleaning water-based cooling circuits of vehicles. It contains selected combinations of active ingredients that dissolve and clean the cooling circuit of limescale and sludge deposits, keeping it clean and operationally reliable. The product can be used in all vehicles with water-cooled engines. Its properties include cleaning the entire radiator system, dissolving sludge-like, oily deposits as well as calcification, containing no aggressive acids or alkalis, behaving neutrally towards seals or rubber materials, and being compatible with normal coolant fluids. It is used for the internal cleaning of the cooling circuit to prevent soiling and calcification of radiators, lines and heaters, and to avoid excessively high engine temperatures. Divinol System Cleaner Radiator can also help remedy malfunctions of thermostats and other regulating mechanisms, provided there is no mechanical defect. It should be used according to the vehicle's operating manual and/or the OEM/manufacturer's specifications. The contents of one can (250 ml, sufficient for approximately 12 litres of cooling water) are added to the coolant, after which the vehicle's heater is switched on and the engine is run idle for about 30 minutes. The old coolant is then drained and replaced with fresh coolant fluid.
