PETRONAS Compressor A M2 100 is a high performance air compressor oil specially developed for up to 2,000 hours of oil life in service, even at maximum discharge temperatures up to 100°C. It is formulated with high quality selected mineral base oils enhanced with advanced anti-oxidant, zinc-free anti-wear, anti-rust and anti-foam additives, delivering very good varnish and deposit control together with very good thermal and oxidation stability for long-lasting performance. It is recommended for reciprocating, rotary screw and rotary vane compressors with critical gears and bearings, used in both stationary and mobile applications. The oil offers very good rust and corrosion protection, very good anti-wear protection, fast air release and foam stability, and very good water separability, while remaining compatible with most metal alloys, seals and elastomers. Grade 100 has a kinematic viscosity of 100 cSt at 40°C and 11.2 cSt at 100°C, a viscosity index of 97, a flash point of 220°C and a pour point of -27°C. PETRONAS Compressor A M2 Series meets DIN 51506 VDL (1985-09) and ISO 6743-3: DAG.
