Petronas Urania 5000 LS-FE 5W30
Fully synthetic low-SAPS heavy-duty diesel oil with fuel economy, API FA-4
API FA-4
PETRONAS Urania Elite Eco 5W-30 is a fully synthetic heavy-duty engine oil with improved fuel economy and extended service-interval capabilities. Formulated with StrongTech™ technology, it forms a uniquely strong fluid film that protects the engine, retains performance and keeps trucks running and available for longer periods, helping to reduce total cost of ownership. It is a low-SAPS oil suitable for Euro VI and Euro VId heavy-duty diesel applications, including modern high-output, low-emission engines fitted with DPF, SCR, DOC and EGR systems. Approved to Volvo VDS-5 and Renault RLD-5, it was specifically developed for Volvo and Renault Euro VId engines produced from 2021 onwards. Better protection against oxidation, high-temperature viscosity loss and sludge build-up, together with excellent low-temperature circulation, provide more durability, efficiency and reliability. Benefits include extended drain intervals and engine life, up to 0.6% fuel-economy improvement versus a conventional 5W-30 meeting DTFR 15C110, outstanding DPF and DOC protection with a low-ash additive system and effective control of high soot loads. It meets API FA-4, SN, SN Plus, ACEA F01 and JASO DH-2, with approvals for DTFR 15C130 (backward compatible with MB 228.61), Mack EOS-5, Renault RLD-5 and Volvo VDS-5, and performance in line with Cummins CES 20087 and Detroit Diesel DFS93K223. It replaces Urania 5000 LS-FE 5W-30.

ACEA F01 — low-viscosity passenger-car diesel (withdrawn)
A short-lived ACEA sequence for low-viscosity, mid-SAPS passenger-car oils aimed at DPF-equipped diesel engines. It was dropped from the ACEA list and superseded by the C sequences.
JASO DH-2 — diesel engine oil
The Japanese standard for heavy-duty diesel engine oils in DPF-equipped engines, with sulphated ash capped so the filter does not clog.
Daimler Truck DTFR 15C130 (formerly MB 228.61) — low-SAPS, low-viscosity engine oil
Daimler Truck's most recent low-SAPS level, at reduced viscosity for fuel economy on Euro VI engines. Daimler Truck renumbered the MB-Approval sheets into the DTFR series; MB 228.61 and DTFR 15C130 are the same requirement.Source
Cummins' most recent engine oil specification, adding oxidation stability and aftertreatment protection requirements.
Mack's newer engine oil specification, adding oxidation stability and aeration requirements to EOS-4.5.
Renault Trucks RLD-5
Renault Trucks' most recent engine oil specification, tightening the oxidation and fuel economy requirements of RLD-3.
Volvo's most recent engine oil specification, for low-viscosity oils delivering fuel economy on the latest Euro VI engines.
