Jenbacher N Oil 40 is a high-performance, SAE 40 gas engine oil formulated for current and next-generation Jenbacher natural gas engines, developed as a major engine component in close cooperation between INNIO Jenbacher and ExxonMobil engineers. Backed by more than 8 million hours of accumulated field data across more than 800 units, its formulation delivers up to twice the extended oil life and up to 30% lower life-cycle costs (LCC) compared with other typical approved gas engine oils. Specifically developed and validated used-oil limits released by INNIO Jenbacher support extended, reliable oil-drain intervals, while excellent alkalinity reserve and retention help keep engines running longer and cleaner with improved reliability. Jenbacher N Oil 40 is approved for the whole range of Jenbacher natural gas engines — Type 2, Type 3, Type 4, Type 6 and Type 9 — per INNIO Jenbacher technical instructions TA 1000-1108 and TA 1000-1109.
