Mobilfluid 125 is an extra high performance power transmission fluid formulated for use in hydrodynamic gears and hydraulic systems typically found in railroad, marine, construction and industrial applications. Built from high performance base stocks and advanced additives, it is engineered to deliver precise, responsive power transfer and to withstand the stresses of heavy-duty, low- and high-speed operation across a wide range of severe operating environments. The fluid provides good wear protection for extended component life and lower maintenance costs, and effective resistance to thermal degradation and oxidation that significantly reduces harmful lacquers, deposits and sludge in high-pressure, high-temperature control valves — helping maintain power transfer, control response and oil service life. Good low-temperature properties support easy start-up and responsive hydraulic control, while effective rust and corrosion protection, including during long stoppages in wet or humid conditions, reduces wear and supports reliable start-up. Excellent air release properties eliminate foaming problems and help maintain the fluid film for optimal hydraulic response, and compatibility with seal and gasket materials used in these systems reduces leakage, pressure loss and contamination. Mobilfluid 125 is recommended by ExxonMobil for fluid couplings and drives, torque converters, and hydraulic control systems in railroad, marine, construction and industrial applications, and carries the Voith Turbo 120.00059010 approval. It is an ISO VG 32 fluid with a viscosity index of 104, flash point of 225°C, and pour point of -30°C.
