PETRONAS Tutela Brake Fluid Truck DOT Special is a brake fluid based on glycol ethers and boric esters, formulated for special and heavy-duty applications such as trucks and commercial vehicles. It meets FMVSS 116 DOT 4, IVECO 18-1820 (contractual technical reference no. I002.F99), SAE J1703, SAE J1704, ISO 4925 Class 4, CUNA NC 956-01, FIAT 9.55597 and ENSAYOS INTA - UNE 26-109-88 specifications. Typical properties include a dry boiling point of 265°C and a wet boiling point of 173°C, with passing results on SBR, EPDM and natural rubber compatibility tests, reflecting the high thermal resistance and elastomer compatibility expected of a heavy-duty DOT 4 fluid.
