Eni Myrtus HT 150
Food grade synthetic chain oil for high temperatures
ISO VG 150
NSF H1 synthetic oil for hydraulics, compressors and vacuum pumps in food processing
Mobil SHC Cibus™ Series lubricants are outstanding-performance hydraulic, compressor, gear and bearing oils formulated from FDA- and NSF-registered hydrocarbon base fluids and additives for the food and beverage processing and packaging industries. Their naturally high viscosity index combined with a proprietary additive system delivers strong performance across high and low temperatures, high loading and areas of frequent wash-down, well beyond typical mineral oils. The series is NSF H1 registered and complies with Title 21 CFR 178.3570 for incidental food contact, is manufactured at ISO 22000-certified facilities that also meet ISO 21469 requirements, and is suitable for Kosher and Halal use, being free of animal-derived materials and nut, wheat and gluten allergens. Low traction coefficients reduce fluid friction and operating temperatures, and validated field and laboratory testing has shown energy savings of up to 3.6% in gear applications and 3.5% in hydraulic applications versus conventional oils, alongside excellent wear protection, oxidation stability, rust/corrosion resistance and seal compatibility. Mobil SHC Cibus oils can be used as hydraulic, gear, bearing and circulating oils throughout a food processing plant and included in a HACCP plan; grades 32, 46 and 68 suit hydraulic, circulating, compressor and vacuum pump duty, while grades 100-460 are intended for gear, bearing and circulating systems.
Industrial gear oil :2018-09 — DIN 51517, part 2
The 2018 issue of part 2 of the German lubricating oil standard, class CL — inhibited against oxidation and corrosion.
NSF H1 — incidental food contact lubricant
The NSF registration for lubricants that may incidentally touch food during production. The formulation is limited to permitted substances, and the contact stays incidental, not intended.
FDA 21 CFR 178.3570 — lubricants with incidental food contact
The article of the US regulation listing the substances permitted in a lubricant that may incidentally contact food. It is the legal basis an NSF H1 registration rests on.
Kosher certification
A rabbinical body's attestation that the product and its manufacturing process meet Jewish dietary law — required in plants producing kosher food.
Halal certification
An Islamic certification body's attestation that the product and its manufacture meet halal dietary rules — required in plants producing halal food.
