Divinol Syntholight 5W-50
Multigrade oil for petrol and diesel engines, including turbo, and hydrostatic systems
SAE 5W-50
Mobil 1 FS x2 5W-50 is a select member of the Mobil 1 range, ExxonMobil's flagship synthetic engine oil line. It is engineered to deliver excellent all-round protection for engines operating in tough conditions, combining high-performance synthetic base stocks with a precisely balanced additive system that reinforces the protective oil film at high temperature while keeping strong oil flow at low temperature. It suits the latest generation high-powered gasoline and diesel (without particulate filter) engines, whether turbocharged or naturally aspirated, as well as older gasoline engines requiring a high-viscosity oil under earlier API standards. It is well suited to motorsport applications and extreme driving conditions such as high temperature, high load and towing, and also provides the extra protection that older or high-mileage vehicles (over 100,000 km) can demand, with a full SAPS additive system supporting drain intervals up to 20,000 km. Key benefits include prevention of harmful deposit buildup, enhanced cleaning for higher-mileage engines, improved protection against variable fuel quality, a 5W low-temperature grade for easy cold starts, a 50 high-temperature grade to limit wear and oil consumption, and protection against Low Speed Pre-Ignition (LSPI) and timing chain wear in GTDI engines. Approvals and specifications include MB-Approval 229.3, Porsche A40, FIAT 9.55535-M2, API SN/SN PLUS/SP/SQ and ACEA A3/B3-16 and A3/B4.
Mercedes-Benz approval 229.3
A Mercedes-Benz operating-fluid approval (BeVo sheet).
Porsche's engine oil approval for petrol models without a particulate filter: a full-SAPS level with severe protection requirements at high speed and temperature.
Diesel engine oil, API CF performance level
API's service category for indirect-injection diesel engines, tolerant of higher-sulphur fuel. An earlier category in the API service classification, written for the engines of its era; it still appears on datasheets alongside the current categories.Source
