PETRONAS Urania 5000 LS 10W-40 is a synthetic technology engine oil formulated with StrongTech technology, engineered to stay stronger for longer by forming a uniquely strong fluid film that extends drain intervals and engine life while maximizing performance and reducing total cost of ownership. It is a low-SAPS oil suitable for Euro VI and Euro V heavy-duty diesel applications, including modern, high-output, low-emission engines fitted with DPF, SCR, DOC and EGR after-treatment systems, as well as older turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines, on-highway and off-highway, running on high or ultra-low sulphur diesel and biodiesel, and is suitable for OEMs requiring the specified performance levels on CNG vehicles. Its low-ash additive system gives outstanding protection for DPF and DOC after-treatment, keeps acidity under control to prevent corrosion, provides exceptional thermal and oxidation stability, combats soot build-up and delivers excellent low-temperature viscosity at start-up. Urania 5000 LS 10W-40 meets API CK-4, ACEA E11/E8/E7 and JASO DH-2, and is approved to Daimler Truck Fluid Release (DTFR) 15C110 (MB 228.51, backward compatible with E6-16, E7-16 and E9-16), Cummins CES 20086, Deutz DQC IV-18 LA, Mack EOS-4.5, MTU Oil Category 3.1, Renault RLD-3 and Volvo VDS-4.5, with additional performance-level recognition from CAT ECF-3, DAF Extended Drain (with Rapido Service system), Detroit Diesel DFS93K222, IVECO 18-1804 Class TLS E9 and TLS CK4, MAN M3477 and Scania Low Ash.
