Oil for rotary vacuum pumps. Shell Vacuum Pump S2 R 100 is formulated from carefully selected, highly refined mineral oils. This gives the oil the low vapour pressure and high performance required for efficient lubrication in rotary vacuum pumps.
Applications
- Rotary vacuum pumpsShell Vacuum Pump S2 R 100 is intended for use in rotary vacuum pumps and rotary vane vacuum pumps. It can be used to deliver low vacuum pressures. It is suitable for most industrial rotary vacuum pump applications.
- Standard operating environmentsShell Vacuum Pump S2 R 100 is suitable for applications where the ambient temperature is above 0 0 C and where maximum operating temperatures do not exceed 100 0 C. The maximum attainable vacuum pressure generally tends to fall as pump operating temperatures rise. Shell Vacuum Pump S2 R 100 is suitable for vacuum pumps working in the range 1000 mbar to 10-2 mbar. Shell Vacuum Pump S2 R 100 is not recommended for use where corrosive gases or chemical vapours are involved in the extraction process.
