Selenia K 5W-40 is a synthetic lubricant developed in collaboration with FCA for modern EURO 4 petrol passenger car engines. Its formulation delivers high resistance to oxidation, enhanced protection during frequent "start and stop" driving, and consistent performance across varying weather conditions. The oil meets the API SN specification and the ACEA A3/B4 performance level, and carries FIAT approval 955535-M2 (CTR No. F214.I05), confirming its suitability for the FCA petrol engine range it targets. Typical physical characteristics include a density of 0.856 g/cm³ at 15°C, a viscosity of 15 cSt at 100°C, a viscosity index of 175, a flash point above 200°C, a TBN of 10.2 mgKOH/g and a pour point below -33°C.
