Divinol VDL ISO 100
Mineral oil for piston compressors, compression end temperatures up to 220 °C
DIN 51 506, class VBL/VCL/VDL
Divinol VDL ISO 68 is a mineral air compressor oil in ISO VG 68 viscosity grade, formulated for compressors that operate under high thermal loads. It is designed for compression end temperatures of up to 220 °C and is intended for the lubrication of reciprocating piston and rotary piston compressors. The oil is highly resistant to ageing and contains corrosion and oxidation protection additives. Its very low coking tendency keeps valves and discharge lines clean, which translates into a longer service life of the compressor valves and more reliable operation between maintenance intervals. Divinol VDL ISO 68 meets DIN 51 506, classes VBL/VCL/VDL, and fulfils ISO DP 6521 categories DAA-DAB-DAH-DAG. Typical values: kinematic viscosity 68 mm²/s at 40 °C and 9.6 mm²/s at 100 °C, viscosity index > 120, flash point > 205 °C, pour point < -15 °C.
DIN 51506 — reciprocating compressor oils
The German standard for screw and reciprocating compressor oils. Classes VBL, VCL and VDL differ in their stability at the discharge temperature.
