Urania Turbo 20W-50
Mineral oil for turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines in commercial vehicles
SAE 20W-50
PETRONAS Urania Turbo 15W-40 is a mineral-formulation engine oil intended as a lubricant for turbocharged and naturally aspirated diesel engines of commercial vehicles. It is suitable for older industrial vehicles with turbocharged engines of all makes and capacities, as well as for industrial vehicles with naturally aspirated engines, offering protection against wear and against the formation of deposits and sludge. Urania Turbo 15W-40 meets SAE 15W-40, ACEA E2 and API CF-4, and is approved IVECO 18-1804 Class T1 (contractual technical reference no. I302.G04), with performance level in line with Mack EOF2, MAN 271, MB 228.1, MIL-L-2104 F, MTU Oil Type 1/Category 2, CAT ECF-1a and Volvo VDS.
SAE 15W-40 viscosity grade
A viscosity grade, not a performance level.
ACEA E2 oil sequence
ACEA's sequence for heavy-duty diesel engines without exhaust aftertreatment. An earlier sequence, no longer on ACEA's current list; it remains the level specified for the engines of its era.Source
Diesel engine oil, API CF-4 performance level
API's service category for high-speed four-stroke diesel engines, of the generation preceding the emissions standards. An earlier category in the API service classification, written for the engines of its era; it still appears on datasheets alongside the current categories.Source
MAN 271 — multigrade engine oil (obsolete)
MAN's old multigrade truck engine oil specification, the counterpart of MAN 270. Superseded by the M 3xxx series.
