Mobil Delvac Light Commercial Vehicle E 10W-40 is a semi-synthetic engine oil that provides long engine life and excellent protection against sludge and wear, delivering excellent lubrication of diesel and gasoline engines in the severe driving conditions typical of city operations. ExxonMobil recommends it for European engines across a wide range of traditional light-duty commercial vehicles. It is intended for older engine technologies, gasoline and diesel engines without Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), light trucks and vans, and normal to occasionally severe operating conditions. Formulated from high-performance base oils and a superior balanced additive system, it delivers optimum performance in recent as well as older engine models. Key benefits include increased thermal and oxidation stability that reduces sludge build-up and deposits for long oil and engine life, and enhanced low-temperature pumpability for fast start-up with reduced wear in cold climates. The product carries approvals from Volkswagen (VW 501 01, VW 505 00), is recommended for Mercedes-Benz Approval 229.1, and meets or exceeds API SN PLUS and ACEA A3/B3. It is an SAE 10W-40 grade with viscosity index 155, viscosity 14.2 mm²/s at 100°C, TBN 9.9 mgKOH/g and pour point -33°C.
