Mobil Delvac Ultra SCA 75W-90 is an automotive gear lubricant engineered to meet very demanding extended-drain and warranty requirements. Designed for gearboxes in Scania and MAN heavy-duty trucks, it is intended for heavy-duty drivetrains that require gear lubricants with excellent load-carrying capability where extreme pressures and shock loading are expected. It incorporates advanced synthetic technology basestock and advanced additives, providing significant advantages over conventional gear oils, and its state-of-the-art technology helps protect against thermal degradation and oxidation while contributing to reduced wear and corrosion, improved shear stability and extended service capability. Key benefits include exceptional thermal stability and resistance to high-temperature oxidation for long gear, bearing and seal life; outstanding protection against low-speed/high-torque wear and high-speed scoring for increased load-carrying capability and reduced maintenance costs; good shear stability to retain viscosity and film strength under severe operating conditions; proven friction-reduction properties with fuel economy potential; good low-temperature fluidity for easier start-up; good foam resistance; and compatibility with typical automotive seals and gaskets for minimum leakage. It is a transmission oil designed for Scania and MAN gearboxes in heavy-duty trucks where Scania STO 2:0 G or MAN 341 type GA2 is required, for on-highway heavy-duty trucks and for applications needing extended service intervals and warranties; it is not intended for automatic, manual or semi-automatic transmissions, which require engine oil or automatic transmission fluid. SAE 75W-90, it carries the MAN 341 Type GA2 approval and meets or exceeds Scania STO 2:0 G.
