PETRONAS Compressor A SYN PAO 100 is a supreme performance air compressor oil specially developed for up to 8,000 hours of oil life in service, even at maximum discharge temperatures up to 120°C. It is formulated with high viscosity index polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base oils enhanced with advanced antioxidant, anti-rust and anti-foam additives, providing excellent varnish and deposit control together with excellent thermal and oxidation stability for long-lasting performance. It is compatible with mineral compressor oils. It is recommended for flooded rotary screw compressors and liquid ring vacuum pumps. The oil offers excellent low volatility, excellent rust and corrosion protection, high air release stability and excellent water separability, while remaining compatible with most metal alloys, seals and elastomers. Grade 100 has a kinematic viscosity of 100 cSt at 40°C and 14 cSt at 100°C, a viscosity index of 142, a flash point of 271°C and a pour point of -46°C. PETRONAS Compressor A SYN PAO Series meets ISO 6743-3: DAB and DAJ.
