Manufacturer's description

PETRONAS Urania Elite Eco 5W-20 is a fully synthetic heavy-duty engine oil with stretched fuel-economy and extended service-interval capabilities. Formulated with StrongTech™ technology, it forms a uniquely strong fluid film that protects the engine, retains performance and keeps trucks running and available for longer periods, helping to reduce the total cost of ownership. It is a low-SAPS oil suitable for Euro VId heavy-duty diesel applications, including modern high-output, low-emission engines fitted with DPF, SCR, DOC and EGR emission-control systems. Approved by MAN and Scania, it has been specifically developed for Volvo and Renault modern high-output, low-emission trucks and buses. Exceptional thermal and oxidation stability keeps viscosity stable and prevents deposits and sludge, extending drain intervals and engine life; the low viscosity delivers outstanding fuel economy and improved start-up lubrication, while the low-ash additive system protects DPF and DOC after-treatment systems and the formulation combats high soot build-up. PETRONAS Urania Elite Eco 5W-20 holds MAN M3977 and Scania LDF-5 approvals and replaces Urania 5000 Eco 5W-20.

Applications

  • This helps to reduce the total cost of ownership. Low SAPS oil, suitable for Euro VId heavy duty diesel applications including modern, high-output, low emission engines fitted with emission control systems using DPF, SCR, DOC and EGR technologies. Approved MAN and Scania, specifically developed for Volvo and Renault modern high-output, low emission Trucks and Buses. PETRONAS Urania Elite Eco 5W-20 replaces Urania 5000 Eco 5W-20. Enhance your vehicle’s performance by pairing PETRONAS Urania with PETRONAS Tutela fluids

Performance & benefits

  • Contributes significantly to reducing your operating costs through
  • Extended Drain Interval and Engine Life driven by exceptional thermal and oxidation stability under high temperature, providing viscosity stability and preventing formation of deposits and sludge to prolong oil life even under severe conditions
  • Outstanding Fuel Economy thanks to its low viscosity
  • Outstanding protection for emission after-treatment systems such as DPF and DOC with low ash additive system
  • Effectively combats high concentration of soot build ups, critical to prevent loss of vehicle horsepower
  • Improved lubrication during start-up thanks to its optimal low temperature viscosity
  • Optimal viscosity levels and lubrication during service life, to prevent unplanned breakdowns
  • Better fluid film resistance under severe mechanical stress to deliver enhanced engine durability
