Eni Antifreeze Spezial 12++
Si-OAT engine coolant protecting every metal in the cooling system
ASTM D 3306
PETRONAS Tutela Coolant LL-Si is a premium performance concentrated long-life coolant delivering optimised performance and component durability for vehicle cooling systems. Formulated with mono-ethylene glycol enhanced with a special silicate organic acid inhibitor (Si-OAT technology), free of nitrites, borates, phosphates and amines, it provides excellent protection against overheating, frost and corrosion, especially for cooling systems containing light-alloy materials. Its advanced technology makes it suitable for the latest-generation vehicles, including hybrid electrified applications, and for European, American and Asian passenger cars and commercial vehicles. Benefits include long-life technology that extends fluid service life while preventing deposit formation and circuit clogging, outstanding corrosion resistance for metal-based components, enhanced protection against freezing down to -38°C and against boiling up to 125°C circuit temperature (when blended 50% with water under a 1 bar radiator cap), very good elastomer and plastic compatibility, and excellent heat-transfer properties to prevent overheating. PETRONAS Tutela Coolant LL-Si meets a wide range of specifications including ASTM D3306 Type I, ASTM D6210 Type I-FF, BS 6580:2010, JIS K 2234:2006 and SAE J1034, with OEM performance-level references from Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Deutz, Cummins, MTU, Liebherr, Porsche and the VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda/Lamborghini/Bentley/Bugatti group.
BS 6580:2010 — engine coolant (United Kingdom)
The British standard for ethylene-glycol engine coolants, with corrosion protection verified on the metals usually found in the circuit.
JIS K 2234 — antifreeze and coolant (Japan)
The Japanese industrial standard for glycol engine coolants: freeze protection and corrosion control for the metals in the circuit.
MTU MTL 5048 — MTU engine fluid
The MTU works standard defining the requirements for one of the operating fluids of its own engines, alongside MTL 5044 for engine oil.
