PETRONAS Tutela Trans TO4 SAE 50 is a high-quality, advanced technology transmission fluid delivering optimized performance and component durability for today's powershift transmissions, axles, final drives and wet brakes. Thanks to extensive bench and field testing, it is suitable for off-highway equipment requiring Caterpillar TO-4 fluids, and meets the requirements of Caterpillar, Komatsu and other off-highway equipment manufacturers. It delivers significantly improved clutch life, friction and anti-wear performance versus CD/TO-2 engine oils, enhanced gear wear protection (per the FZG Gear Test) for powershift transmissions, gearboxes and final drives, good thermal and oxidation stability, good seal compatibility and robust corrosion protection, together with superior, stable frictional performance and low foaming tendency. TUTELA TRANS TO4 SAE 50 meets API MT-1 and CAT TO-4, and is at Komatsu KES 07.868.1 (2002) performance level. Typical density is 0.900 g/cm³ at 15°C.
